Kendra J (Venoit) Harrington

CHELSEA - Kendra J. Harrington, 57, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2017, surrounded by her four sons and several other loved ones.

She was born on September 12, 1959 in Gardiner, Maine, the daughter on Kenneth L. Veniot and Bertha L. (Truman) Veniot.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her many grandchildren.  She was a very caring and loving mother who always seemed to know what to say.  Truly an incredible women with a heart of gold.

She is survived by her husband, John, of 14 years; her four sons, Kevin Veniot and his wife Chelsea of Oakland; James Pinkham Jr and his wife Kari of Sidney; Scott Pinkham and his wife Lora of Mt. Vernon; and Michael Pinkham of Portland; one step-daughter, Melissa Harrington Chason of Saco; two sisters, Sharon Roderick of Hope; and Paula Mason of Augusta; one brother, Kenneth Veniot of Pittston; eight grandchildren, McKayla, Cody, Sadie, Alexander, Tyler, Zakary, Kyleigh and Carson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by both of her parents; a grandson, Braden T. Pinkham of Sidney; and stepson, Matt Harrington.

Visiting hours will be held from 9-11 a.m. Monday, September 4, at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner.

Burial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, at Main Avenue Cemetery, 94 Kennebec Drive Farmingdale. A celebration of life pot-luck to follow at 12 p.m. at the American Legion, 46 Griffin Street, Gardiner.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Staples Funeral Home to help cover funeral costs.
