Roger will be remembered for his sense of humor, and his love of old cars. He spent many hours in his garage rebuilding and fabricating old vehicles, his favorite being the model-A limo that he built. Many hours were spent cruising with friends in the hotrods, in parades, and at cruise-ins.
Following his wife’s retirement, they purchased an RV and travelled extensively around the country. They enjoyed both the natural wonders and architecture as well. His favorite places that he spoke of often were in Oregon and Utah. The last several winters have been spent in Florida where they have made many new and dear friends.
Roger is a past master of the Dresden Masonic Lodge and is also a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Many thanks go out to the staff of Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA that cared for him over the past week.
