4. Basic services of the funeral director, staff and overhead

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select and is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.
Includes the following:
Staff available 24 hours daily to respond to the initial request for services; conference with family or it's representative and advise to determine desired services and to obtain vital statistical information for required documents; sheltering of remains for 4 days; coordinating the desired funeral service plans with: clergy, cemetery, crematory, and/or other third parties; The preparation and filing of all necessary notices authorizations, and permits with governmental offices; follow-up attention to related details connected with the service. In addition this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs such as: compliance with infectious waste management regulations and employee safety regulations mandated by governmental agencies. General administration and record keeping.5. Optional use of funeral home facilities, staff and equipment:
May include the following: Securing obituary information for newspaper notices, if desired; supervision by funeral director and staff for visitation and/or ceremony; receiving and arrangement of flowers and other memorial tributes; professional adherence to the rituals of designated religious faiths and/or fraternal orders.

7. Automotive equipment: All transportation charges are for local service. Beyond a 15 mile radius add $ 1.50 per loaded mile, per vehicle.

9. Forwarding remains to another funeral home $ 2,225.00
This charge includes: Local transfer of remains to our facility (1.A.), embalming normal remains (2.A.), cosmetology, grooming and dressing (3.A.), Basic services of the funeral director and staff (4.), LOCAL TRANSFER of remains to Portland Jetport (1.B.)
It does not include: merchandise, optional use of facilities, staff and equipment (5. A or B) (use of facilities for viewing, and/or a funeral ceremony), and other preparation of remains (3. B or C), if necessary.
10. Receiving remains from another funeral home.....$ 1975.00
This charge includes: Local transfer of remains from Portland Jetport (1.B.), cosmetology, grooming when receiving remains with viewing (3.B.2.), Basic services of the funeral director and staff (4.), and LOCAL transportation of remains to place of final disposition.
It does not include: merchandise, optional use of facilities, staff and equipment (5. A or B) (use of facilities for viewing, and/or a funeral ceremony), embalming (2) and/or other preparation of remains (3. B or C), if necessary.
Direct cremations: from $ 995.00 to $ 6,309.00 (Alternative container for item 11.A. below); Cardboard cremation container.
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).
The containers we provide are: Gray cloth; cardboard cremation container; any casket
This charge includes: LOCAL TRANSFER of remains to our facility (1.A.), basic services or the funeral director and staff (4.), and hearse (Funeral Coach) for LOCAL TRANSPORTATION to crematory.
It does not include: merchandise (except as itemized below), optional use of the facilities for viewing or a funeral ceremony), embalming (2.A.), and other preparation of remains (3.A or C), if necessary.

It does not include: merchandise (except as itemized below), optional use of the facilities, staff and equipment (5.A or B), (use of the facilities for viewing or a funeral ceremony), embalming (2.A.) and other preparation of remains (3.A or C), if necessary.
