Hallowell -  Duane R (Bud) Lord, 76, of Outer Central St Hallowell left us on Jan 19th after years of battling heart disease. Bud was Born Jan 3, 1942 in Augusta Me. Fourth Son born to Roger H Lord Sr and Arlene Burgess Lord.

Bud was survived by his (patient)wife of 54 years Barbara Colfer Lord. His three daughters (pride and joys) Barbie- jo Lord and Michael Allen. Mischele Ellis. And Wendy Lord-Buck and Trevor Buck. Grandchildren (cream of his crop) Amber and Brian Allen.. Bailey Ellis and Brandon Smith.. Taylor and Cole Lockhart. Great Grandchildren Brandon and Ashton Ellis. Three brothers. Roger (Bucky) Lord Jr of Hallowell. Ronald and Carolyn Lord of Arcadia Florida. Freeman and Anne Lord of Hallowell. His sister whom has gone above and beyond for the Lord family Norma and Darryl Brown of West Gardiner. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bud graduated from Hallowell High School class of 1962. After graduation he continued to work on the family farm. In 1977 Bud & Barbara took over the ownership of Lords Dairy. He was so proud to be a farmer.

As of his request there will be no memorial service. His wish was to have his ashes thrown out on the manure pile but after telling him that wasn't happening. He then decided to have some put up under the old maple tree on the farm land and some up in Jackman at the Lord family camp.
