Ron was born in Gardiner and grew up in South Gardiner. He graduated from Gardiner Area High School in 1982.
Ron started his career working in construction before going to work at Associated Grocers. He then worked at Bath Iron Works for 20 years and then B & S Builders. For the past 12 years Ron owned and operated his own business, RJ Hall Building & Repair. He has given so many people wonderful gifts with his craftsmanship.
Ronnie was known for his infectious smile that always brightened everyone’s world. His heart was bigger than this universe. He was everyone’s “go to guy,” never hesitating to extend a helping hand to family, friends, and even strangers. He loved the outdoors and hunted with his brother-in-laws, nephews, and friends. He was the most amazing and perfect husband and father, setting a great example for others. Anywhere he went, he always left every place better than he found it. Our lives are better because of the time we have all spent with Ron. His impact on this earth is immeasurable. He will be in our hearts for eternity.
Ron was pre-deceased by his mother Rita Dupuis Hall, both maternal and paternal grandparents, and special grandmother Eunice Sutter Hall.
Ron is survived by his wife of 33 years, Becky Hall, two beautiful daughters, Brittany and Braley Hall, his father Ronald Hall, Sr and his wife Carol, sisters Linda and husband Scott Taylor, Nancy and Gary Leclair, Janet and Tom Roberts, Rhonda and Mike Emmons, Bridget and Daryl Mansir, and brother Jim and wife Lisa Hall, special in-laws Grant and Nancy Pare’, brother-in-laws Ron and wife Ginny Pare’, Mike and wife Mary Pare’, sister-in-law Jackie Pare’, many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, good friends and his two dogs and sidekicks, Sadie and Stella.
There will be a visiting hour at Staples Funeral Home, Gardiner, Maine on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 12:00-1:00p.m. with a funeral service following at 1:00p.m. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the former Rollins Furniture Store building on the Hallowell-Litchfield Road, Hallowell, Maine.
