PITTSTON – Aloha Joan (Conrad) Russ, 90, of Pittston, died Monday, February 5th, 2024, at the Heritage Rehabilitation and Living, in Winthrop. She was born in Washington, Maine, on May 16, 1933, the daughter of Frederick and Ida (Moore) Conrad. Joan is survived by five children Terry Hopkins, Debbie Fuller, Mark Hopkins and wife Joyce, Jay Hopkins, and Wayne Hopkins and wife Maria; ten grandchildren, Daren, Amanda, Anthony, Luke Ross, Chase, Cale, Kara, Jaret, and Nathan and six great grandchildren Emerson, Mason, Colton, Jackson, Breonna, and Robby; two siblings Jewell Childs Hurd and Lee Cuthbertson and wife Vickie. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Robert C. Russ, JR; four siblings, and one grandson Alan Fuller. A celebration of Aloha's life will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, at Noontime, at the Manchester Lions Club, Club House Road, Manchester. A spring graveside service will be held in the Putnam Cemetery in Pittston, ME. Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
