AUGUSTA - Beverley passed away peacefully at the Maine Veterans' Home in Augusta on February 18, 2023. Beverley was born on December 6, 1927. Beverley was the daughter of the late Charles and Jessie Cunningham of Massachusetts. Beverley grew up in Somerville Mass. before moving to Maine where she met and married her husband the late Nathaniel L. Berry III in 1948.
Beverley trained at Beverly Hospital in Massachusetts where she graduated from nursing school. After nursing she went to college in Maine and spent many years teaching in schools around the Augusta area.
In the late 1960's Bev became the Post Master at the Windsor Post Office before retiring in the late 1970's. After her retirement Bev and her husband Nat started Berry and Berry Floral business in Windsor and then to Hallowell, and Gardiner.
Bev was very involved in the Rebekah's and Odd Fellows lodge along with her husband Nat.
Beverley had a great passion for her home in Windsor, the outdoors, her beloved cats, horses and birds also spending many hours at her camp at Long Pond in Windsor.
Beverley was very proud of her two sons Nathaniel and David who became Maine Game Wardens.
Beverley is survived by her two sons Nathaniel his wife Chongae, and David; three grandchildren, Teague Berry and (Tricia), Frances Berry-Worcester and (Daren), Maggie Williams and (Joseph), and four Great Grandchildren Wyatt and Avery Worcester, Ethan and Samantha Williams.

There will be a Graveside Service at Resthaven Cemetery in Windsor, Maine on Friday June 16, 2023, at 2:00PM.
