Skowhegan-Blaine A Elliott, 78, passed away peacefully with many family members by his side at Togus VA Hospital October 23, 2025. Blaine was born in Hartland, Me October 27, 1946, to Leon and Doris (Cool) Elliott. Blaine served in the Army from 1967 to 1968 and served 7 years in the National Guard. He earned his GED from Skowhegan Area High School. Blaine married Shawna in 1970, and they spent 55 years together. Blaine was an all-around handy man and spent many years working in various positions in area shoe shops. He retired from New Balance. He liked to hunt and fish when he was able, often taking his children and grandchildren with him. Blaine is survived by his wife Shawna, stepson Randy Bowden, son Jason Elliott, and daughters Tammy Elliott and Heather Elliott. He is also a grandfather to eight and great-grandfather to six. He is also survived by his only remaining sibling, Barrie Elliott and wife Cyndy, being predeceased by his parents, six siblings and many other family members. Services and burial will be in the spring and will be announced at a later date.
