BOWDOINHAM - Byron Eugene Harrington, Jr., 86, of Bowdoinham, Maine, died Saturday, November 6th, 2021, at Mid Coast Hospital, in Brunswick. He was born in Gardiner, Maine, on June 7, 1935, the son of Byron Eugene Harrington, Sr., and Clara (Dubruiel) Harrington. Byron spent his early years working as a shoe shop worker and retired as a custodian. He was a family man and an Elvis enthusiast. Byron ate every day at his favorite restaurant the Topsham Fairground Café. He will be greatly missed by many. He was predeceased by his parents, Sister Pauline St Amand, wife, Shirley Harrington, and a daughter, Deborah Libby. Byron is survived by, two children, Mary Pike, of Augusta, Jason Harrington, of Chelsea; Companion Necia, of Bowdoinham; two siblings, Paul and Richard Harrington; five grandkids; four great-grandkids; one great great grandson; loving nieces and nephews. There will be no service at this time. Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
