GARDINER- Carl E. Hansen ,65, went home to his Lord on Oct. 27, 2021, with family by his side. He was born in Augusta on December 8, 1955, to the late Leona Gould and Earl Hansen. After attending Gardiner Area High School, he traveled around the country with the J. Geils Band and several other bands as a lighting designer. This was a highlight of his life. He then began his career in photocopy repair and manufacturing. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Farmingdale. Carl will always be remembered for his devotion to family, positive attitude, and terrific sense of humor. He is survived by wife Jennifer (Graham) Hansen, son Seth Hansen, sisters Gerrylynn Ricker, Sharon Sliva, a large extended family, and many dear friends. His family would like to express their gratitude to those who cared for Carl during his illness. No services will be held, and donations may be made in his memory to Kennebec Valley Humane Society, 10 Pethaven Lane, Augusta, Maine 04330.
