Gardiner-Carrie Lynn Lord, 52, of Gardiner died unexpectedly at her home of Wednesday, April 9, 2014. She was born in Gardiner on Jan., 28, 1962 a daughter of Lawrence and Bernice Kelley Murphy. Carrie thru her genuine kindness had earned her wings long before she began to wear them. She volunteered a lot of her time for veterans; organizing care packages for troops overseas, making arrangements for coming home preparations. Many of her enjoyments included motorcycling, crafts, camping, the loved of the outdoors, bonfires, and good times with friends. She was a member of the VFW Post 887 of Augusta. Carrie is survived by her mother of Farmingdale, her daughter Stacy Lynn Young of Augusta, her son Robert David Young of Augusta, brother Laurence Murphy of Augusta, sister Lisa Pimpare of Lyman, three grandsons, Cameron, Caleb and Logan, maternal grandmother Winona Drake of Waterville several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 13th at 2pm at the Randolph United Methodist Church 16 Asbury Street Randolph.
