FARMINGDALE - Cathy Ann Perkins, 54, affectionately known by her friends as "Cat" or "Cath," died peacefully but unexpectedly in her sleep on Friday, July 25, 2025, she was a beacon of light in the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Born on April 25th, 1971, in Augusta, Maine, Cathy was a loving and loyal woman who left a lasting imprint on the world around her. Her life's journey, marked by vibrant passions and a deep love for her family, was a vivid testament to who Cathy was and how she lived her life. Cathy lived her life to the fullest, with a kaleidoscope of hobbies that showcased her diverse talents. She was a gifted clerk, where her intelligence and attention to detail shone brightly in the world of retail. Outside of work, Cathy was never idle. She breathed life into her crafts, danced with joy, filled rooms with her singing, and delighted taste buds with her cooking. Her love for nature was evident in her passion for camping and swimming. She also had a deep appreciation for poetry and movies, and her love for the arts was infectious. Above all, Cathy's loyalty to those she loved was unparalleled. She held her partner, Scott Morrison, and her late mother, Carol, close to her heart. Her beloved dog was always by her side, a testament to Cathy's warm and nurturing spirit. She was predeceased by her cherished mother Carol Ann Perkins, and Robert L. Morrison, the loving father of Scott Morrison. Cath was survived by her partner Scott Morrison; father Matthew Perkins Sr., and wife; brother Matthew Perkins Jr., and wife; Niece Amber Perkins, and Nephew Matthew Perkins III. The world is a little less bright without her, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. What we have once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never loose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us, and Cathy was indeed a part of all of us. She will be fondly remembered on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Staples Funeral Home in Gardiner, visiting hours will commence at 2:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm.
