West Gardiner-Charlene F Godbout, age 67 of W. Gardiner passed away Sunday, October 29 at her home. She was born October 20, 1956 in Gardiner, the daughter of James and Roween Violette Foote.

She attended Gardiner schools and graduated from Gardiner High School, class of 1974. She worked at Healthtex for several years and, later was a manager at Henny Penny's. She married Robert Godbout in 1975 and they raised their family in West Gardiner.

She loved Mustangs, enjoyed doing crafts and volunteering at the Chelsea Food Bank.

She is predeceased by her brothers, Larry and Mike Foote.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, son Jason of North Monmouth, daughter Michelle Lewis of Chelsea, 2 grandchildren John and Emma, brother Jim Foote and his wife Almalee of N. Monmouth, sister Cheryl Foote and her husband Lee Kimberling of W. Gardiner, and sister-in-law Betsy Foote of Winthrop.

There will be no services at this time.
