RANDOLPH - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our brother, uncle and great uncle, Charles William Farrell Jr. at the age of 75. He was lovingly known as Bill or Billy.
Bill was born in Gardiner, Maine on April 19, 1948, the son of Charles Sr. and Joyce Farrell of Randolph. Bill liked to ride his pedal bike and was locally known as Bicycle Bill all over Randolph and Gardiner. He was also a huge fan of Nascar.
Bill worked for a number of years as the dishwasher at Wakefield's Diner, which is now known as the A-1 Diner in Gardiner. He also worked in the Town of Randolph mowing lawns and snow blowing driveways.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Charles and Joyce Farrell and his brother Lawrence Farrell.
Bill leaves behind a sister Roxanne Cook (Tim) of Waterville; a brother Timothy Farrell (Kay) of West Gardiner; two nephews Scott Ware (Hillary) of Gardiner, and Jeremy Farrell (Dana) of Waterford; two nieces Jasmine Merrill (Jason) of Waterford, and Renee McCaslin (Dean) of Vassalboro, and several great nieces and nephews.
Bill's visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 7th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner with a memorial service following at noontime.
