FARMINGDALE - Christopher Michael Richard, 47, a beloved father and respected figure in the automotive sales industry, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, at the age of 47.
Born on April 26, 1978, in Brunswick, Maine, Christopher spent his life dedicated to his family, his work, and his passions. His strength of character, warm heart, and vibrant personality will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Christopher was a General Manager at Wiscasset Ford, where he was admired for his unwavering work ethic and his ability to inspire those around him. His love for his work was only surpassed by his love for his family. His daughters Ragan and Brea were the light of his life, and he often expressed that they were his everything. Christopher was a strong and resilient man who always managed to maintain a positive outlook through the ebbs and wanes of life.
Beyond his professional life, Christopher was known for his diverse hobbies. He was a passionate fan of the New England Patriots, an avid fisherman, and a fervent disk golfer. His love for music was evident, and his musical talents shined throughout his life. Yet, it was his love for his family that truly defined him.
He is survived by his two daughters Ragan and Brea McClure; his parents, Marcel and Loretta Richard of Litchfield; two brothers Ian Richard of Litchfield and Travis Richard and spouse Hazel Patterson of Augusta; also Christopher leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, who will forever celebrate his memories.
His family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Staples Funeral Home, located at 53 Brunswick Ave, Gardiner, Maine.
