Obituary

PITTSTON – Claudette Lillian Haskell, 83, of Pittston died Monday, March 11th, 2024, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and LTC at Glenridge, in Augusta. Born in Rumford, Maine, on December 9th, 1940, the daughter of J.A. Honorius and L. Patricia (Ouellette) Miville. Claudette grew up in Gardiner and graduated from Gardiner High School in 1959. While working at her family's diner, now known as Dave's diner, she met Russell, the love of her life. In September of 1961, they married and moved to Pittston where they started their family and spent the remainder of their lives. She was predeceased by her parents; J.A. Honorius and L. Patricia (Ouellette) Miville, her husband Russell D. Haskell, her sister Geraldine (Miville) and her husband Henry Marceau and her brother Robert R. Miville. Claudette is survived by her son David and his wife Celene Haskell and grandchildren Hayden and Brenden Haskell of Pittston, daughter Tina Haskell and husband Michael Crocker and granddaughter Isabella (Bella) Haskell of Pittston, brother Norman Miville and partner JoAnne Mooney of Gardiner, brother Donald and wife Bonnie Miville of Standish and brother Paul Miville of Ohio.
