1942 - 2021

AUGUSTA - Constance M. Ames, 78, of Augusta, Maine, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 5, 2021, with her family by her side.

She was born in Augusta, Maine on October 31, 1942, the daughter of William and Yvonne (Veilleux) Godbout.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Jean Ames; sister Shirley Bilodeau and husband Roger, and nephew, Danny Bilodeau.

Connie is survived by three daughters, Darlene Edmonds and husband Donnie, Brenda Fyfe and husband Michael, Barbara Bumann and husband Martin; stepson Marc Ames and wife Caren; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two nieces, Debbie Farrell, Donna Severance, and longtime friend, Sharon Hathorne.

There will be no service at this time, a private family graveside will be held at a later date.
