AUGUSTA - Dalton Gary David Sawtelle passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023. He was born on October 5th, 1998, at the old Augusta Hospital to Jessica Gallagher and Gary Sawtelle.

Dalton was a 2016 Graduate of Monmouth Academy and was on the Monmouth Wrestling team. During and out of high school he became a concrete finisher and worked at Advanced Concrete. He was a dedicated and hard worker.

Dalton was a proud father of his son Daxton, enjoyed shooting his guns, loved fishing and ice fishing, playing guitar with his cousin Tyler Valois, camping and he loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his son Daxton Sawtelle, Mother Jessica Gallagher, Father Gary Sawtelle, Brother Wyatt and sister Nova Gallagher and step siblings Hannah Sawtelle-Dolloff and Addyson Sawtelle-Dolloff His Paternal Grandparents Ray and Pat Sawtelle, Uncle Rob Sawtelle and wife Michelle, and cousins Molly and Hunter Sawtelle. His Aunt Lynda Rosen and cousins Madison Rosen and Garret Rosen and several cousins.

He was pre-deceased by his Great Grandmother Lenora Gallagher, and Grandfather David Gallagher.

A celebration of life will be held at Manchester Lions Club, Club House Road, Manchester, Maine, on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, at 2:00pm.
