1935 – 2021 HALLOWELL – Dawn Elizabeth Reardon, 86, of Hallowell, Maine, died Monday, October 4th, 2021, at home after a brief illness. She was born in Caribou, Maine on January 4, 1935, the daughter of Bernard and Laura (Straight) Reardon. Dawn graduated from Fort Fairfield High School in 1952. After living in Hartford, Ct. and North Easton, Ma. she moved back to Maine and was employed as a Public Safety Dispatcher and Ambulance Clerk, for the City of Gardiner and retired in 1997. She was predeceased by her parents; son Stephen, and a brother Ronald Reardon. Dawn is survived by her daughter, Dena Ghiglio, of West Gardiner; two sons, Christopher Ghiglio and wife Lynda, of Pittston, Matthew Ghiglio and partner Nancy Tisdale, of Pittston; a sister, Joyce Braddock, of South Windsor, Ct.; four grandchildren, Heather Laing, Amanda Ballesteros, Kayla Bradford and Jessica Fitch; four great grandsons, Miles, Calvin, Oliver and Johnny; two great granddaughters, June and Abigail and another on the way; several nieces and nephews. To fulfill Dawn's wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
