AUGUSTA – Elizabeth Dorothy Page, 78, of Augusta, Maine, died Thursday, July 9, 2026, at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital – Miles Campus in Damariscotta after a brief medical event.

She was born in Lewiston, Maine, on May 5, 1948, to George and Elmira (Harkness) Rideout.

She will be remembered as a caring and loving woman with a generous heart, the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to someone in need. She was a hard worker, a devoted provider for her family, and a true spitfire whose strength and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

In every role, she brought her strong work ethic, compassion, and care for others.

Elizabeth found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life. She loved quilting, tending to her flower gardens and plants, cooking for family and friends, camping, and spending time at the beach and by the ocean. She also had a special love for her bearded dragon, Buddy, who brought her happiness and companionship.

Above all, she loved her family and friends deeply. Her warmth, determination, humor, and giving nature will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
