Fay French Obituary (1934

PITTSTON - Fay M. French passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Glenridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Augusta after a long illness. She was born November 28, 1934 in Randolph to William J. Rines and Frances (Brayley) Rines.She was employed by several shoe manufacturers, ending her career at Knapp Shoe in Lewiston.Fay was predeceased by her parents, husband Harold, companion and friend Chester Mansir and granddaughter Alana French.She is survived by her sons Harold French and his wife Jill of Windsor, Mark French of Augusta; brother William Rines and his wife Jean of Chelsea; granddaughter Crystal Fortin and her husband Ryan and their daughter Audrey of Chelsea; granddaughter Danielle French of Virginia; grandson Mark Barron of Virginia, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11am at Riverside Cemetery in Pittston.The family would like to thank the Graybirch and Glenridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Facilities for their compassionate care, and a heartfelt thank you to Hospice.
