MANCHESTER, NH - Felix L. Desjardins, 69, of Manchester, NH, a beloved figure known for his caring and kind nature, departed from this world on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Born on September 6, 1956, in Augusta, Maine, Felix was a beacon of loyalty and generosity, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Felix spent his formative years in Augusta, Maine, where he received his education, graduating from St. Augustine School and Cony High School in 1974. His career path led him to become a self-employed taxi driver in Manchester, New Hampshire, a role in which he met countless people and became a familiar and friendly face throughout the city. Previously, he honed his skills as a welder at Bath Iron Works.

Felix was an avid sports enthusiast, a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Dallas Cowboys, often found cheering on his favorite teams. His passions also extended to the tranquility of fishing and the camaraderie of spending time with his friends. He also had a love of music and countless old record albums. He approached life with a gentle spirit and a readiness to enjoy its simple pleasures.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alcide J. Desjardins and Florianne R Desjardins and a brother, James G. Desjardins, all from Augusta.

Felix is survived by two brothers, Paul of Augusta and David Desjardins of Gardiner; sister, Paula and husband, Tim Kendall of Vassalboro. Nieces Angela Ellis Brann, Kristin and husband Charlie Calligan, and nephews Todd and wife Nicole Desjardins, Jarrod Desjardins, Christopher and wife Kirsten Desjardins, and Erick Kendall, along with tons of cousins, great nephews and nieces.

He was a cherished member of his family, embodying the spirit of their traditional Family Christmas gatherings. His legacy is one of unwavering kindness and a profound commitment to the people he cared about. He was a man who truly would do anything for anyone, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 21, at 10:00 am, at the St. Augustine Cemetery, 71 Towsend Road, Augusta.
