1945 – 2022 READFIELD – Gary L. Sencabaugh, 76, of Readfield, Maine, passed away on March 9th, 2022 from a long illness, at the Alfond Center for Health, in Augusta. He was born in Gardiner, Maine on October 29, 1945, the son of James Sencabaugh and Alice Shea. Gary was a kind and loving human being, and one of a kind. We will miss and never forget him. He will be in our prayers. He was predeceased by his parents; brother Ronnie Scencabaugh and sister Brenda Guay. Gary is survived by his lifelong friend. Carol Fournier; her two sons, David and Sean Fournier, and daughter Renee Cousins and husband Dorcy and their children Lauren and Corner; Carol's brother Al Goguen and wife Beth. Gary is also survived by his two daughters, Angelia Christopher and husband Ken, and their son, Lucas, Jacinta Sencabaugh and children Tristen and Julia; brother Brian Flagg; several nieces and nephews, especially close to his brother Ronnie's children, Kristen and Scotty. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 2, at 1:00pm, at the Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, Maine. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the Alfond Center for Health, in Augusta, for the care they gave to Gary.
