1927 - 2023 PITTSTON- Harry E. Storer, 95, passed away at home on Sunday, September 3, 2023, with his loving wife at his side. He is the loving husband to Juanita (Ripley) Hastings Storer with whom he shared 36 years of marriage after many years of true love and companionship. Harry was born November 24, 1927, in Yarmouth, Mane. He is the son of the late Raymond E. and Gladys (MacDonald) Storer. He was a graduate of North Yarmouth Academy Class of 1947. He resided in Pittston for many years and previously resided in Yarmouth and New Gloucester. Harry was an honorably discharged veteran who serviced with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict station in Germany and held the rank of Private First Class. Harry worked as a Salesman for Community Telephone for several years until his retirement. He previously worked for several appliance and television dealerships in the Portland area. He was a very accomplished photographer and loved carpentry, a talent he learned from his grandfather. He and Nita treasured the time they spent together taking care weather on a trip, watching car racing, or just being together at home. Togetherness was the key to their relationship. In addition to his loving wife Nita, Harry is survived by his daughter Jone L. Davidson of Yarmouth, his stepdaughter Kathleen Jo Husa of Wheatridge, Colorado and his stepson Peter C. Hasting and his wife Catherine of Louden Center, New Hampshire. Harry is also survived by three grandsons, and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Harry is predeceased by his brothers Richard Q. Storer and his step son-in-law Robert Husa. Harry's committal service will be at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 1:00 PM.
