1962 - 2023 AUGUSTA – James F. Underwood, 60, of Augusta, Maine, passed away on September 25th, 2023, at the MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. He was born in Augusta, Maine on November 9th, 1962, and was predeceased by his parents John and Jeanette (Wood) Underwood. James was a member of the Riverside Congregational Church in Vassalboro, Maine and a graduate of Kents Hill School and the University of Maine at Augusta Registered Nursing. He enjoyed music and watching old movies. Jim is survived by his partner James Malinky and siblings Jack Underwood, Jill Bloomburg and Jay Underwood. There will be no funeral services at the funeral home or church. A private burial will be held at a future date.
