Obituary

1985 – 2022 AUGUSTA – Jason Edward Laflamme, 37, of Augusta, died Friday December 23rd, 2022, at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. He was born in Waterville, Maine on January 7th, 1985, the son of Robert Laflamme and Rosemarie (Knowles) Little. Jason graduated from Messalonskee Highschool class of 2003, then attended Job Corp in Bangor, obtaining his certificate for facility maintenance. He worked varies jobs, until he became a school bus driver for First Student in 2010, where he met Heidi, his future wife and they married on July 14th, 2012. Jason chased his childhood dream as a truck driver and went to school at Prime Trucking in Springfield, MO, where he obtained his CDL Class A and went to work for Prime Trucking for a year, then drove for a few different companies including, Western Express, Big Rock, M.A. Simon, and then ended his career do heath issues at JVL Trucking. He was very involved in the Touch a Truck Event, at Gardiner High School, loved music, video games, sci-fi, horror movies, and he was very family oriented, a kid at heart, and a jokester. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Laflamme, and father-in-law, James R. Sevon, Sr. Jason is survived by, by his wife, Heidi (Sevon) Laflamme, of Augusta; mother Rose Marie Little, and stepfather Steven Fields, of Vassalboro; five children, Shaanhah Dunnett and husband Zack, of Florida, Randi and Stephen Dougherty, of New Jersey, Wesley Laflamme, of Augusta, Arrieanna Brown, of Florida, Shantelle Brown, of Augusta, and Tawan Brown, of Georgia; two brothers, Donald and Robert Laflamme; two sisters, Lisa Marden and her husband Brian Cram and Emily Michaud; three nieces, Penelope Laflamme, Jillian Hume and her husband Del, and Lily Curtis; two newphews, Jaxson Laflamme, and James Marden, III and his wife Mikayla; three grandchildren Piper, Danny and Hope, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of Jason's life will be held at Christ Church in the Great Hall, 2 Dresden Avenue, Gardiner. on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 10:30am.
