GARDINER - With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of June Percival, a spirited, loving, compassionate, and dedicated woman, on November 23, 2024. Born on February 24, 1943, in Worcester, Massachusetts, June was a beacon of optimism and strength who illuminated the lives of those around her with her radiant smile and caring heart.
June's life was a testament to the quote from the Bible, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms" (1 Peter 4:10). A woman of deep faith, June along with her late husband Kenneth Sr., participated in missionary work in Brazil for 16 years. They built two churches and provided religious and medical support for children in need. She was an active member of the Highland Avenue Free Methodist Church. June's faith was her compass, guiding her through life's challenges with grace and resilience. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her family.
