Obituary

Gardiner- Kaleb Arthur Donovan, It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kaleb Arthur Donovan. Aged but 28 years, Kaleb was born in El Paso TX on August 28, 1996, and died on December 5, 2024. Kaleb, whose life was tragically cut short, was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Kaleb grew up with a strong sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors. He proudly served in several units within the Maine Army National Guard, having most recently deployed with the 488th Military Police Company, and was currently serving as a Corporal in the Forward Support Company of the 133rd Engineer Battalion. Kaleb served with courage, commitment, and an unwavering dedication to his country. Kaleb was a man who cherished life's simple pleasures – riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, spending time in the woods hunting and fishing, relaxing at camp, or playing with his children at home. He found peace and joy in nature, especially when joined by friends and family. Kaleb is predeceased by maternal grandmother, Mavis Fowler, and paternal grandmother, Loretta Donovan. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Jessica Rose Donovan, and their two young children, Nora Rosendale Donovan and Milo Shawn Donovan, who were his entire world. He is also mourned by his parents, Linda & Tim Kelly and Kirk Donovan, his sisters, Allisen Risinger, Naiomi Roy & Jasmine Donovan, in-laws, Vince & Tania Baldwin, maternal grandfather, Eldon Fowler, paternal grandfather, Marshall Donovan, many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew, as well as countless friends who will remember him for his incredibly kind heart, his sense of humor, his boundless energy, and his easy laugh. Kaleb's passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be forever missed and remembered for his fierce loyalty, the love he gave, the life he lived, and the absolute joy he brought to everyone around him. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm at Staples Funeral Home in Gardiner, ME. All are welcome to come share memories with family and loved ones.
