1935 -2022

GARDINER – Kerwin Paul Eastman, 87, of Gardiner, died peacefully at his home on Monday, October 31, 2022. He was born in Hallowell, Maine on September 9th, 1935, the son of John and Bernice (Thompson) Eastman. Kerwin was a carpenter by trade and loved working with wood. He enjoyed roller skating as a young man, camping with his family and friends, attending car shows, air shows, the Highland games, the demolition derby, and all animals. He always loved talking to anyone he met along his travels and was always ready to tell a story of the old days.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers John and Gary and his son Perry Eastman.

Kerwin is survived by his Wife Joan (Emerson) Eastman, of Gardiner; Siblings: Rosalind Proulx and Ronald Eastman; Children: Lynn Eastman, Dianna and Glenn Marsella, Andrew Eastman, Joy and Chris Belanger, and daughter in law Louise Eastman; Grandchildren: Tracy Eastman, Malinda Reagan, Samantha Ward, Joshua Eastman, Paul Eastman, and Jeremy Eastman. Great Grandchild Alexis Ward.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Litchfield Plains Cemetery.
