AUGUSTA – Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Bechard, 59 of Augusta, died unexpectedly in Gardiner on Monday, July 15, 2024. Born in Augusta, Maine on December 17, 1964, the son of Joseph and Lillian (Coulombe) Bechard. Larry attended Cony high school and spent many years in the trades as a finish taper. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his father and was a proud member of the biggest bucks of Maine club. His favorite pastime was playing a round of golf at Western View golf club in Augusta. Most of all he loved spending time with his daughter Tiffany, granddaughter Delilah and his two best friends Frankie Patten and Doug Mayberry. Larry was a good-hearted man who was always willing to help anyone in anyway he could, he will be missed dearly by his family and friends. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family: his daughter Tiffany Michaud and husband Jacob Michaud. Granddaughter, Delilah Michaud. Sisters, Brenda Moor, Debbie Coulombe and her sons Shawn Coulombe and Keith Coulombe, Carol Bumps and her son Paul Babb, Joyce Bechard and her sons Michael Bechard and James Richards and nephews Brian Bechard and Stephen Bechard. He was predeceased by his mother, Lillian Bechard (Coulombe), father, Joseph Bechard, sister Donna Bechard and nephew Timothy Babb. A celebration of life will be held at the Buker Community Center on August 17th from 12pm-4pm.
