Pittston --- Lawrence Yogi E. Bowman, 46, of the Kelley Road, Pittston passed away Thursday July 10, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer at his sisters' home in Augusta with family at his side. He was born in New London, CT on Jan. 30, 1962 the son of Lawrence T. and Beverly Lunt Bowman.Yogi was a lover of cars, his dogs, being with family and working on his cars. He loved Eagles and Roadrunners. He once had a 1969 roadrunner car that he enjoyed. He was a loving caring giving person with a big heart. Yogi loved his step son, Danny Levine of Winthrop. He also leaves behind his parents of Augusta, 7 brothers and sisters, Billy and his wife Brenda Bowman of Augusta, Linda and her husband Greg Brunk of Limington, Me, Mary and her husband Robert Marston of Pittston, Randy and his wife Christine McGahey of Waterville, Flora and husband Josh Rice of Augusta, Ronda and husband Robert Peaslee of Whitefield, Bruce and his wife Karen Bowman of West Gardiner, former wife Donna Dostie of Augusta and former wife Cheryl Levine of Augusta several uncles, aunts , nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many wonderful friends.Visiting hours will be held Tuesday July 15th from 11am to 1 pm at Staples Funeral Home 53 Brunswick Ave. Gardiner where a memorial service will follow at 1pm.
