WEST GARDINER - Leslie Ann Cude, age 76, of West Gardiner, passed away Friday February 16, 2024.

She received her High School degree from Gardiner High, and attended Central Maine Vocational Institute where she received a Machine Tool certificate. She married Scott Cude on September 13, 1986. Leslie grew up traveling with her parents from base to base, living in Maine, Ohio, Taiwan, England, Germany, California, and Pennsylvania. She worked at Etonic shoe, Cottles and Philips Elmet in Lewiston. She had a golden heart and loved all children, dogs, and cats. She would give them anything they needed and any treats they wanted. Leslie’s favorite activities were shopping and her garden.

Leslie is survived by her husband Scott, son John Heverly and his wife Lucy of Windsor, son Eric Heverly of Clinton, son Philip Markham of Belgrade, Daughter Mary Cude of West Gardiner, and Grandson Gage Markham.

She was predeceased by her Parents Eric and Mary Brouillet (McIntyre), Brother Kim Brouillet, and sister Karen Sarkies.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 4th, at 1PM at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Avenue in Gardiner. A spring burial will be held.
