Richmond- Linda L. Truman, 62, of Brunswick Road, died peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at MaineGeneral Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Linda was born in Augusta, Maine on February 18, 1964, the daughter of Larry E. and Patricia A. (Tibbetts) Keene. She attended local schools and graduated from Richmond High School.
On June 26, 1982, Linda married Richard Truman at the Christ Episcopal Church in Gardiner. Following a brief "Time-Out" Richard and Linda were married a second time on July 1, 1995.
In her spare time, Linda loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing or just going for long walks in the woods. She enjoyed listening to old country music, playing bingo and baking. She was not known for cooking, but her homemade Whoopie Pies were famous. Linda was a fun loving and caring person who always put others' needs ahead of her own.
Linda was predeceased by her father, Larry Keene. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Richard Truman of Richmond; a daughter, Cherie and Jimmy Brayley of Skowhegan; a son, Ricky Truman and his partner, Cheyne of New Jersey; her mother, Patricia Keene and partner, Wendel Skidgell of Richmond; sister, Sandy and Shawn Farrington of Chelsea; sister and best friend, Kim Dutton and her partner, Nick Jacques of Richmond; grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, all of Aunt Lou's Big Kids!
A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held on June 6, 2026, at 1:00pm at the home of Kim and Nick, 915 Brunswick Road, Richmond, ME. Arrangements are under the direction of the Staples Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Ave, Gardiner, ME.
