Obituary

RANDOLPH - Marcia Jean Pace, 71, known affectionately as Mimi, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 26, 2026. She was born to Henry and Nancy (Sherman) Daneault in Brockton, MA on May 31, 1954. Marcia lived in the South Shore of MA for most of her life until settling in a quaint neighborhood in Randolph, Maine with her beloved husband of 54 years, Bernard Pace Sr. A spirited soul with a charismatic personality, Marcia was a pillar of support for her loved ones, always willing to lend a helping hand. Marcia earned an associate's degree in Business Administration from Massasoit Community College. Over the years, she worked as a waitress at Estabrooks in West Bridgewater and later as a seamstress at Carwoods in Brockton, Massachusetts. Marcia was deeply passionate about wellness and holistic healing. She was a licensed massage therapist and a doula, using her gifts to provide comfort, care, and support to many. A proud business owner, she founded and operated the White Cottage Center for Healing Arts in Abington, Massachusetts, a place that reflected her nurturing spirit and commitment to healing. She found joy in tending to her plants, renovating her home, and embracing life with warmth and light, earning her the affectionate nickname "Sun Goddess." Marcia had a deep fascination with healing stones, gems, and crystals, which mirrored her belief in the power of holistic practices. What mattered most to Marcia was her husband and family. She was a constant source of love, encouragement, and support in their lives. Marcia was the devoted mother of Shelley Graves of Randolph, Maine; Bernie Pace Jr. and Kim Hanlon of Pawcatuck, Connecticut; Sheila Krain and her husband Greg of Arlington, Massachusetts; Kevin Pace and Ashley Tetreault of Augusta, Maine; and Katie Currier of Abington, Massachusetts. She was a proud and devoted "Mimi" to her ten beloved grandchildren: Riley, Sophia, Olivia, Nicholas, Brook-Lynn, Christopher, Jillian, Isabella, Andrew, and Karter. Marcia was also a loving cat mom to her cherished companions, Mufasa and Missy. Marcia's light continues to shine bright in their lives and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched. A memorial service for Marcia will be held in the spring. We encourage friends and family to share their memories of Marcia on her memorial page at www.staplesfuneralhome.com You are also welcome to upload any photos that capture the spirit and joy that defined her life. Let us come together to celebrate the vibrant life of Marcia Jean Pace and the love she had for us all.
