Mount Vernon-Mark Lemieux, 58, of Plains Road died peacefully on April 9, 2026 at his home with his loving family by his side.
Mark was born in Gardiner, ME on July 20, 1967 the son of Norman D. and Marie Ann (Mason) Lemieux. Mark was a man whose love and presence made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a genuine kindness that couldn't be taught. He made people feel welcome, appreciated, and understood simply by being himself. His laughter, his strength, and his ability to bring comfort to others will never be forgotten.
Above all, Mark loved deeply and wholeheartedly. His devotion to those closest to him was unmatched, and the way he cared, especially for his wife, Cyndy, whom he loved with his whole heart was something truly special. His whole world revolved around her. He showed every day what it means to stand by someone with unwavering love, loyalty, and compassion.
He was also a devoted father and stepfather to Amber, Crystal, and Justin. He was there when he was needed most. Steady, supportive, and full of love. He gave each of them a sense of security and care that will never be forgotten, and his love for them will always remain.
Mark will be remembered not only for who he was, but for how he made people feel. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his impact will never fade. He was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed.
A special thank you to everyone who donated and made his service possible and to Beacon Hospice for giving him the comfort he needed.
