Scarborough Mary Jane (Roberts) Bouclin, 85, of Scarborough formerly of Ridgecrest, California died Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Pine Point Center after a brief illness. She was born March 1, 1931, one of 11 children of Howard and Louisa Sears Roberts. The lights of Mary Jane's life were her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the family get togethers with stories andsometimes loud and obnoxious--card playing, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her two children; Mark Bouclin and his wife Susan of Folsom, CA, Michelle Hayes and her husband Kip of Chelsea; her grandsons Nathan Hayes of Topsham, Joshua Hayes of Clarksville, TN; Graham Bouclin and Hayden Bouclin of Folsom, CA; two sisters, Catherine Johnson and her husband Lou of Augusta and Dianne Roberts of Portland; her brother Dana Roberts and his wife Linda of Randolph and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband, Peter Bouclin; sisters Patricia, Barbara, Rita and Helen (Judy); and brothers Harris, John, and Edward. Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner, where a funeral service will be held in the spring followed by a celebration of Mary Jane's life.
