GARDINER – Mary T. Moore, 92, of Gardiner, Maine, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, following a brief illness, with her family by her side.

Guided by her faith, Mary was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church and lived a life centered on devotion, family, and love.

Mary is now reunited in Heaven with her husband, James W. Moore Sr., the love of her life; her sons, James W. Moore Jr. and Thomas V. Moore; and her grandson, Garik J. Nason Carr.

She is survived by her children, Mary Veilleux (Chuck), Kathleen Carr (Frank), Michelle VandenBosch, Denise Brann (Larry), Elaine Murray (Daniel), Samuel Moore (Kristen), and Stephen Moore (Kelli); 22 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.

Mary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 9th at 11:00 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, School Street, Gardiner, burial will follow at 1:00 pm at the NEW Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta.

Following the burial, all are invited to a gathering at 197 Leighton Road in Augusta after the burial.
