West Gardiner -- Michael Leslie Bolduc passed away on June 10 after a two year battle with cancer. Michael always remained in good spirits and did his best not to let his illness interfere with his daily life. Michael graduated from Gardiner Area High School in 1981 and held various jobs during his working years, his most fulfilling being his most recent job at Beckett House. He was a thoughtful and generous man who took pride in his work and his family, especially his daughter Brianna, whom he had raised from the age of four on his own. He was always quick with a smile for everyone he met, a helping hand to those who needed it, and he had a keen sense of humor.Michael leaves behind his wife, Susan Jamison Bolduc, and her three children, Zachary, Cameron and Alyssa Barnes; his mother, Lynne Barry; his father, Philip Bolduc; his sisters, Lisa Pierce and Trista Barry; two special grandmothers, Elaine Chase and Dena Hubley; his precious daughter Brianna Lynne Bolduc; three nephews, one niece, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.A celebration of Michael's life will be held at the American Legion Post 4 at 46 Griffin Road, Gardiner, on June 20 at 12:30 where people may gather to reminisce about this unique and special man. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Harold Alfond Center.Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home 53 Brunswick Ave Gardiner
