Augusta-Michael W. Farrell, Jr., age 74 died Friday, November 26, 2021 at the comfort care unit of Glenridge after a long illness. Mr. Mike, as he was called by many, was born July 15, 1947, the son of Michael Sr., and Catherine Greene Farrell. Mike was a life-long blood worm harvester spending years traveling up and down the coast of Maine harvesting, as he called it, the bait of choice. He was a big fan of bluegrass music and was an accomplished guitar and mandolin player. Mike was predeceased by his parents and a brother, David Farrell. Michael is survived by 2 sisters, Janice Bunnell and Catherine Bilodeau, brother Joseph Farrell, 3 sons Michael and his wife Jan, John and his wife Delta, and Jody and his wife Sena, and 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Michael is also survived by the love of his life, Coreine Fletcher. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
