West Gardiner- Nancy L. Knowles, age 70 of W. Gardiner died Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her home. She was born March 4, 1953 in Gardiner, the daughter of Philip and Maxine Gillis Lamb.

She attended Gardiner area schools and graduated from Gardiner Area High School, class of 1971. She entered Thomas College and studied fashion merchandising. She worked for Augusta Lumber, the Gardiner School District as a Teachers Aid, and ran a pet shop called the Golden Lamb with her husband. She was a realtor and owned her own company, Knowles Agency. She was co-owner of AC Towing with her son.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, David Knowles, son David Jr., of Gardiner, daughter Mary and her husband John Cameron of W. Gardiner, grandchildren Brooke and Kamren Knowles, Amanda Cameron and John Cameron Jr., great-grandchildren Tucker and Madelyn, brother David and Joan Lamb, brother-in-law Paul Johnson and several nephews.

This will be no services at this time.
