CHELSEA - It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved daughter, Nastasha Massey, 41, of Chelsea on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025. Stasha was born in Augusta, Maine on March 14th, 1984, to Michael and Susan Massey in the midst of a blizzard.
Her childhood on the Windsor Road was spent within a loving neighborhood of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She attended Chelsea Elementary and Hall-dale High School. She earned a CNA degree and a Nail-tech certificate. But she most loved being an at-home mom to her daughter, Kaylee-Jo. Kaylee filled her heart with joy and laughter and was Stasha's guiding light. While at home with Kaylee, she was able to start an on-line vintage and antiques business with her father, Mike.
Stasha had a smile that lit up a room, an infectious laugh, and a kind and loving heart.
She is pre-deceased by her grandparents, Joan and Manly Hiltz and Winona Massey, and a cousin Anthony Massey.
Stasha is survived by her most beloved daughter, Kaylee-Jo; parents, Susan Massey Theriault, and Michael Massey; stepmother Judy Malek; sister, Jasmine Massey; her chosen brother Jason Dupont; Kaylee's father, Karl Kittredge; family and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Our beautiful girl is now at peace.
A loving daughter, sister, cousin, niece.
Now a guardian angel for her beloved Kaylee-Jo.
Loved and missed more than she'll ever know.
A service followed by a reception will be held on Thursday December 11th at 1:00PM at Faith Christian Church, 280 Brunswick Ave, Gardiner.
Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of the Staples Funeral Home website, www.staplesfuneralhome.com
