Patricia Mae Adams, 64, of Augusta, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1959, in Gardiner, Maine to Oscar U. Adams, Sr & Caroline Bertha Norris. Patty, as she was fondly known, was a beloved sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Patty attended Gardiner High School and graduated in 1979. She was a dedicated and hardworking individual throughout her life. Unfortunately, in 2003, Patty's life took a turn when she was involved in a car accident that left her disabled. She loved hanging out on Water Street in Gardiner back in the 1980's With her special sister in law Patsy and nieces Marina & Lisa and nephew Jay. Patty was very loved and had a reputation of being fierce. Patty and her lifelong best friend Kim were inseparable. Patty is survived by her sister, Leona Eshleman of Gardiner and special nieces, Lisa, Marina, and Pam. Many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Her paternal grandparents Lawrence Adams & Laura Rideout and Maternal grandparents Clifton Norris and Leona Billedeau. as well as her sisters Kathleen McArthur, Laura Frost, and Barbara Jean Adams, and her brothers Junior, Richard, Terry, and Clifton Adams. And a life long friend Kim Messer There will be no family services at this time. However, the family plans to have a celebration of life in the future to honor and remember her. Details of the celebration will be announced at a later date. Patty will be remembered for her resilience and determination, despite the challenges she faced. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in peace.
