Patricia "Trish" McKay Gosline, 54, of West Gardiner, ME, unexpectedly passed Sunday morning, June 30th, 2024, with her husband by her side. Born August 25th, 1969, she was the beloved daughter of Clarence McKay Sr. and Irene McKay (Chadborne) of Gardiner, ME.
She graduated from Gardiner Area High School in 1987. She married G. Nelson Gosline of Gardiner on May 3rd, 2000. They spent 30 years of their life together, and they raised their four children with love and care. She proudly worked for the State of Maine for many years. Later, she dedicated 15 years serving on the board of directors for Uplift, Inc. Trish was known for her compassion and love for helping others.
She was a traveler at heart, one of her top destinations was Aruba. Together with Nelson, they would spend the cold winters visiting the island. She would immerse herself in the vibrant culture and befriended many locals and fellow travelers. The warm weather and crystal-clear waters always made her feel relaxed and rejuvenated. She enjoyed her summers on Cobbossee Lake, where she found peace in pink sunsets and loon calls.
She is remembered and survived by her parents, Richard & Rose McGibney; Her husband, G. Nelson Gosline and their four children and their spouses; Crissy & Doug Brunelle, Ashley & William Purington II, Eric & Amanda Gosline, and Marissa & Tim Nason; and in-laws, E. Nelson & Patricia Gosline; in addition to numerous, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. She fiercely loved her nine grandchildren; Cole, Reid, Alyssa, Ellamae, Grace, William III, Edwin, Graham & Maeve who will forever remember her as their Mimi G.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, as she touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. May she rest in peace, forever remembered for her warm smile and loving heart.
At Trish's request there will be no services.
