1949–2022 Farmingdale – Patricia "Pat" A. Libby, 73, of Farmingdale, passed away Wednesday, September 14th, 2022, after a long hard battle with cancer, at the MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and LTC at Glenridge, Comfort Care Unit, in Augusta, Maine. She was born in Waterville, Maine on July 22, 1949, to Clyde and Loretta (Carey) Soule. Pat attended and graduated from Oakland High School, in 1967, then continued on to get her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of Orono, in 1971. She worked for the Maine State Bureau of Insurance for 25 years. She was a passionate, loving, and giving woman. She was always willing to help others when possible. She deeply loved her family, friends, and pets. She enjoyed going to the ocean and also had a passion for travel, and new adventures. Pat is predeceased by her parents, Clyde and Loretta Soule, and her best friend & loving dog, Sassy. Pat is survived by her Son, David, and wife Michelle Libby, of Farmingdale; Daughter Elizabeth, and husband Rod Dill of Gardiner; 5 Grandsons; Dillon Libby and partner Kristen, of Farmingdale; Austin Libby and partner Hannah, of Gardiner; Zachary and wife Rebekah Libby, of Topsham; Kyle Michaud and partner Helena, of Farmingdale; and Robbie Michaud, of Farmingdale. And 2 Great Grandchildren, Ellie Michaud, of Chelsea; and Nathan Michaud, of Farmingdale. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. Date, time and location TBD.
