CHELSEA - Peter E. Pinkham, of Chelsea, ME, 67, passed away quietly, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
He was born in Gardiner, ME to parents Paul and Erika (Gould) Pinkham and grew up in Richmond, ME.
After his graduation from Richmond High School, Pete proudly served his country in the active duty military for 4 years as a Tactical Air Command and Control Specialist Sergeant in the Air Force, and continued his service as a member of the Army National Guard for an additional 4 years. After his service to our country, he spent 20 years working for Etonic Shoe Company of Richmond, ME.
He enjoyed camping, bowling, fishing, bingo, horse racing, and spending time with his family and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents Paul and Erika (Gould) Pinkham, sister Linda Pinkham, brothers Michael and Gregory Pinkham and survived by his devoted wife of 33 years Sherri Pinkham of Chelsea, ME, daughter Carrie Pinkham of Chelsea, ME, son Nathan Pinkham and his wife Ashley Pinkham of Chelsea, ME, and grandsons Jacob and Ryder Pinkham, brothers Thomas Pinkham and wife Yvonne of Richmond, ME, Charlie Pinkham of Richmond, ME, sisters Nancy Merriam of Richmond, ME, Priscilla Trask of Richmond, ME, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and two special sister-in-laws, Elizabeth Strutton and Penny Leblanc.
A celebration of life and graveside military honors and burial will be conducted at a future date.
