Farmingdale- Raymond Saxon Petrick, age 69, of Farmingdale, Maine died on August 18, 2026.
Ray was born in Oceanside, CA on October 10, 1956 to Gladys and Edward Petrick. Ray and his three older brothers and family lived in Twentynine Palms, CA for a few years and then moved to Volga, SD and then to Omaha, NE in 1959. Ray graduated from Benson High School and then joined the Marine Corps.
Ray met the love of his life, Stella Fitzpatrick, in 1992 and were married on August 3,1993. They were married for 34 wonderful years, building a life filled with hard work, deep love, shared laughter and quiet strength. Ray enjoyed motorcycles and tinkering and fixing things. He was known for his gentle kindness, devotion to his wife, Stella, and hard work ethic. They were very blessed to have each other as best friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Bach Petrick, his father Edward N Petrick, brother, Don Petrick (Carla), and brother, Dave Petrick (Nancy). He is survived by wife, Stella Petrick, brother, Ed Petrick (Cathy), daughter, Melissa Shepherd (Luke), grandchildren, Alexis and Alayna, son, Nathan Burrell and children, Aunt, Alice Bach, and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews and beloved cats, Flokey and Tank.
Burial and funeral services TBD in Omaha, NE. Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Staples Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 53 Brunswick Ave, Gardiner, ME.
