Obituary

Augusta - Reno Alcide Beaulieu, 62, passed peacefully June 11, 2023 after a short illness. He was born in Augusta on December 9, 1960, the son of Alcide and Jacqueline Beaulieu. He lived in Augusta most of his life, was in Cony High School's graduating class of 79'. Reno worked in construction and owned and operated Augusta Metal Roofing for over 20 years until his recent retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting especially at his camp in Jackman with his many friends including his beloved brother Dean. This past year Reno was honored by being inducted into the Big Buck Club. He enjoyed spending time with his friends Kelly Rand, Dennis Simard and Dennis' son Donny. Reno loved and cherished the time spent with his sisters, Jean and Shelly, his daughter Brittany and only Granddaughter Isla Grace. Reno was known for his witty personality, comical sense of humor and sharing numerous stories of his wild adventures. He was blessed with the gift of giving; his kindness and generosity was felt by all who knew him. He is pre deceased by his parents Alcide and Jackie Beaulieu, his brother-in-laws Daniel Kilmer and David King. He is survived by his daughter Brittany Gagnon and her husband Ben Gagnon, his granddaughter Isla Grace Gagnon; his two sisters, Jean King and Shelly Kilmer, and his brother Dean Beaulieu; and lastly his beloved nieces and nephews, Krissy King, Scott King and wife Crystal King, Jackie Kilmer, and DJ Kilmer and fiancé Jess Soucy. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 16 at Holy Family Cemetery, 139 Townsend Ave., Augusta. Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner, where condolences, memories and photos may be shared with the family at www.staplesfuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine via their website. There will be a celebration of life following the service at White Flour Catering 205 Church Hill Rd, Augusta. Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
