1968 – 2023 RANDOLPH – Ronald E Sleeper, 54, of Randolph, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday October 18th, 2023. He was born in Augusta, Maine on November 24th, 1968, the son of Richard Sleeper and Karen (Whitmore) Sleeper Jacques. Ron, or "Rol" as his friends would call him, graduated from Gardiner High School in 1986. Quick witted and often smiling, Ron was a loving father that was able to work with his passion for cars and motorcycles for much of his life. He was an avid racing fan and led a successful youth racing team with his sons, Cody and Ed. Ron enjoyed hunting, watching sports, and loving his pets but was happiest with his children or riding his Harley. He is predeceased by his father, Richard Sleeper and stepmother, Janis Sleeper. Ron is celebrated in life by his three children Mikaela Hickey and husband Cody, of West Gardiner, Cody Sleeper, of Randolph, and Edward Gerard- Mills, of Belfast; two grandchildren; his mother and stepfather Karen and Ray Jacques; two brothers Dan and Doug Sleeper; stepbrother Joey Lessard; partner Bonnie Kennerson, and numerous relatives and friends. Ron's memorial service will be held on Saturday October 28th, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick, Ave., in Gardiner, committal will follow at the Maple Grove Annex Cemetery, Windsor Street, Randolph.
