JAY – Russell Lawrence Tregembo, 73, of Jay, died at the VA Togus on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024. Born in Augusta, Maine on August 3, 1950, the son of Pearl Tregembo and Stepfather John Barrows Russ was born in Maine raised in Massachusetts eventually moving back to Maine after his tour in Vietnam. He was predeceased by his parents, Pearl and John and special fur baby Miss Kitty Russell is survived by his wife Arline (Stratton) Tregembo of Jay Me. Daughter Jessica Tregembo her partner Joe Powell, and granddaughters Kathlyine Chabot, River Powell of Winthrop Me, Daughter Amy Maheu, and her husband Elmer Maheu of Shapleigh Me. Daughter Cindy Welch her partner Bruce Stone of Livermore Falls Me. A half-brother Blaine Alexander of Augusta. Several more grandchildren and great grandchildren of various places in Me. Many many cousins in Maine and Massachusetts. Friends from all over, and his special fur friends Ubu and Ryder. A celebration of life will be held at the Gardiner Lions club on Sunday June 2nd, 2024, from 2pm to 530pm. A military graveside burial will be held Tuesday July 9th at 1pm at the new Veterans Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, in section B.
