Pittston- Timothy "Tim" Moody, 63, died peacefully October 2, 2022 at an Augusta hospital after a long struggle with COPD and congestive heart failure. He was born October 18, 1958, in Gardiner, Maine, the son of Ralph and Barbara (Crocker) Moody. As a boy he enjoyed ice skating, hunting, fishing, and causing a ruckus. Tim graduated from Gardiner High school, class of 1978. During his high school years, he served at Gardiner's Junior Fire Department. Following graduation, he worked for the city of Gardiner as the Public Works Director. Then Tim started his own construction company, T&L construction. He married his high school sweetheart, Laura Moody, and they settled in East Pittston. They celebrated 40 years of marriage in August of 2022. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Timothy Moody II, a sister Gloria Maschino, and a brother Robert Moody Sr. He is survived by his wife Laura Moody of Pittston, and his daughters Vanessa Moody, and Alicia Sirois and her husband Brandon Sirois. He is also survived by his grandchildren Mason Sirois, Emma Sirois, Madelyn Sirois, and William "Bubs" Russell Jr., a sister Jeanette Marshall and her husband Craig Marshall and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim will be fondly remembered for his love and his funny stories. Service will be held at East Pittston Methodist Church, located at 1083 E Pittston Road, on October 9th at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Followed by a graveside service at Whitefield Cemetery.
